Hi everyone!! YAY! I get to start the first post! ;D
ok, well, im starting a new fanfic..... Im posting this to see if you guys like it so far. If so, ill keep writing. I'm fretfully nervous right now, cuz this is the first ever fanfic ive shown to people....*deep breath* here it goes.....
Nothing's Written in Stone
He rolled the bottle down the sand until it hit your feet. You looked up at him, confused. He took the other bottle from his side, uncorked it, and said,
“Here’s luck to you Will Turner.” He said, while raising his bottle. Looking back down at the bottle of rum at your feet, you realized he was right. There is no way of getting off this island. Well, for the moment, at least. Sighing slightly, you picked up the bottle, uncorked it, and looked at the brown liquid inside.
You walked up, and sat beside him. Before taking a sip, you decided it was time to play Elizabeth again.
“Drink up me hearties yoho.” Taking a sip, you knew exactly what Jack was going to say. But this time, you were changing it around. No more Elizabeth Swann. It was time for him to know the real you.
Jack turned his head slightly towards you until he was facing you completely, baffled expression.
“What was that, Elizabeth?” he asked. Instead of replying harshly, ‘It’s Ms. Swann!’ you decided to be nice to him.
“Nothing. It’s just a song I learned, when I was little.”
“Let’s hear it.” he replied simply. You looked at him as if to say, ‘Yeah, right.’
“Oh, come on. We’ve got the time.” He said rather harshly, but truthfully. “Now, let’s hear it.” You rolled your eyes.
“I don’t like to sing.” You said rather solemnly.
“Well, you can’t sound that bad.” He said. Glaring at him, you replied,
“You said, ‘That bad’, so that leaves the option of sounding positively horrible.” He smiled, and shook his head. Taking a sip of his rum, you just studied him for a moment. You wondered what he would think if you told him the truth of everything, where you were really from.
Of course, there is the possibility of him thinking you were absolutely insane and delusional. Maybe that one shot will be meant for you, instead of Barbossa. No, that’s silly. He would probably just think you were crazy. You imagined yourself being taken away in a straight jacket to an insane asylum, and wondered if they even had insane asylums here. Silly thing to be thinking at a time like this…
